Welcome to Deck League! Not Playing Games LLC operates Deck League. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Deck League, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Deck League. By using Deck League, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms of Service. If you are under 13, you may not register for or use the service.

3. No Real Money Wagering

Deck League is a FREE fantasy sports game for entertainment purposes only. There is NO real money wagering, NO entry fees, NO prizes with monetary value, and NO gambling of any kind. This is a game among friends for fun and bragging rights only.

4. Digital Purchases

Deck League offers optional cosmetic card faces for purchase. These are purely visual customizations that change the appearance of your cards and do not affect gameplay, scoring, or competitive advantage.

Purchases are processed securely through Stripe (web) or the applicable app store (iOS/Android). Purchased card faces are tied to your account and cannot be transferred. We reserve the right to modify pricing, availability, or visual content of card faces at any time.

Refunds. Refunds are evaluated case-by-case. On iOS or Android, refund requests are handled by the platform (Apple App Store or Google Play) per their own policies. For web purchases made through Stripe, contact us at info@deckleague.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll review the request. We typically grant refunds for purchases that didn't activate correctly, were accidental, or were charged but not delivered. Active or already-equipped card faces are generally non-refundable. If a card face is removed from the store, existing owners will retain access to their purchased content.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to modify game rules, scoring systems, and card mechanics at any time. While we strive for accuracy in player statistics and scoring, we are not responsible for errors in third-party data sources. All scoring decisions are final.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Deck League, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, card designs, and software, are owned by Not Playing Games LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Third-Party Content

Deck League uses NFL player statistics and data from third-party sources. We do not claim ownership of NFL team names, logos, or player information. All NFL-related trademarks are property of the National Football League and its member teams.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

NOT PLAYING GAMES LLC PROVIDES DECK LEAGUE "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOT PLAYING GAMES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Not Playing Games LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Deck League shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

16. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

If you opt in to text messages from Deck League, you agree to receive recurring automated account-notification texts (lineup and card-lock reminders, match results, and match invitations) from Not Playing Games LLC at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of using the service.

Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per week during the NFL season). Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply STOP at any time to cancel and stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@deckleague.com. You can also manage text notifications in your account settings.

Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are used only to deliver these notifications. We do not sell or share your mobile information or opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
